Interstate 65-bridge repair planned for Tues., April 12 Northbound lane closure will extend into Wed., April 13

The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists that the outside northbound lane of Interstate 65 on the Tennessee River Bridge will be closed for repair Tues., April 12, through Wed., April 13.
Crews will repair the bridge deck in the outside northbound lane at milepost 37.4 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. both days. The outside northbound lane will remain closed Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. ALDOT anticipates reopening the lane Wednesday afternoon.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and plan accordingly. Use alternate routes if possible.
