Dakota Parker

Funeral for Dakota Parker, 19, of Decatur will be Thur., April 14, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richie Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Welti Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed., April 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Parker died Sat., April 9, 2016. He was born August 31,1996, in Madison County to Kevin Raymond Parker and Shannon Renea Hyde Parker. He was a full-time student at Auburn University. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Shannon Parker of Decatur; his grandparents, Donna Hyde, of Huntsville, Angie and Gerald Tate of Madison, Zelda and J.D. Turner of Cullman and Mary and Terry Poole of Eugene, Ore.; his great-grandmother, Mary Jo Reid of Welti; and a host of great-aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Pestona, Austin Wilder, Peyton Morris, Jacob Vehrs, Alex August and J.P. Williamson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sigma Phi Epsilon.
