SHADY GROVE CHURCH MEMBERS COLLECTING ITEMS FOR OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOE BOX

The Members of Shady Grove Baptist Church are collecting the following items for the month of March for Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box. Items being collected include socks, gloves, t-shirts, small tote bags, makeup bags and small purses. All help and support with this project will be greatly appreciated.

The article should read as follows: Special congratulations go out this week to Brody and Geranda Clark on the birth of their daughter “Riven Leona Clark”. Riven was born on Jan. 18 and she weighed eight pounds and 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. Riven’s proud grandparents are Randy McAbee, Geri and Mike Turner and her really proud great grandmother is Scharlotte McAbee.

The Danville High School Lady Hawks Varsity Softball Team will play West Limestone at 6:30 p.m. on Thur., Mar. 9 at home. The Jr. Varsity will play at 4:30 p.m. On Mar. 10 and 11, the Jr. Varsity Tournament will be held at Wilson Morgan Park in Decatur. The time will be announced later. The Danville High School Hawks Varsity Baseball Team will play at Falkville on Thur., Mar. 9 at 6:30 p.m.. The Jr. Varsity will play the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Their next home game will be on Mar. 14 at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. when they play the Brewer Patriots.
