Fleda S. Monk celebrated her 103rd birthday on June 17 at Falkville Healthcare Center with many friends and family. She was born on June 19, 1914 in Commerce, Texas. She has lived in and around the Hartselle area since she was about 2 years old. She was married to Hollis Monk and has four sons. Holland Monk (Beth), Frank Monk (Kathryn), Larry Monk (Mavis) and Carl Jim Monk.
