The new Highway 31 Zaxby’s restaurant location will open its door to the public on July 24, 2017.

The chicken fingers and wings fan favorite, will celebrate the grand opening by giving away a Fanatic Pack of “52 Free Dealz,” meaning a free item at Zaxby’s each week for a year, to the first 100 guests.

Georgia native and Zaxby’s owner Ben Williams said the City of Hartselle made this project easy for the crew.

“Hartselle has been such a great area to work with and they have bent over backwards to help us with getting permits and getting things to get this restaurant ready to open, “ Williams said.  “If all the projects were as easy as this one, it would be fantastic. This was one of the best projects yet.”

Zaxby’s is located at 351 Highway 31 Northwest.

“I first started working with the brand in 1995, and now 22 years later, I still love Zaxby’s,”  Williams said. “I look forward to continuing the expansion of Zaxby’s in this area and feel very blessed to be surrounded by such supportive fans. The wonderful, family-friendly environment aligns with the values in this community, and we just can’t wait to open.”

With seating for 70, the new 3,900-square-foot location will reflect the Zaxby’s farmhouse design. The building will also accommodate a range of group sizes and will have free Wi-Fi available.

According to a Zaxby’s press release, the restaurant serves chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches, salads and more in a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Zaxby’s is a pioneer of the fast-casual format, providing services and amenities that fall somewhere between fast food and a sit-down restaurant. At the new restaurant, customers will place their orders at the counter and will be called to pick up their prepared-at-order meals when they are ready.

“As we have done in our other stores, we would like to hire more than 40 team members from the local community to fill various positions at this new location,” said Williams. “Our goal is to always find people who believe in the Zaxby’s brand as much as we do and who demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service to our guests.” Any interested candidates within the Hartselle area or surrounding communities can stop by the store to apply in person.

Zaxby’s currently operates in 17 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia.
