Friendship Baptist Church to host revival

The Members of Friendship Baptist Church will host their Revival July 30 through August the 2. The time will be 11 a.m. and also 7 p.m. They will have guest speakers and special music nightly. The director for the revival will be Caleb Lewis. The church is located at 501 County Road 201, Danville, Al. 35619. They also have a website, www.visitfriendship.weebly.com.

The Members of Shady Grove Baptist Church express Christian love and heartfelt prayers this week for Great Commission Endeavor, Church Recovery Team, Selection Team, Church Van for Team Kid, Helen Taylor, Barbara LeMay, Lillian Hancock, Lottie Hensley, Kim Roberts, Amy Clark, W.O.Garmany, Shirley Bibb, Tom and Connie Campbell, Josh Ozley, John Haynes, Jackson Locklear, Gary Long, Pat Lacy Hudgins, Jeanette Glasscock, Mike Segars and Paula Blackwood.

Special belated Happy Birthday wishes go out this week for Hunter LaRoche, July 25th. Happy Birthday wishes also go out this week for Gary Taylor, July 27th, Max Roden, July 30th, Steve Terry, July 31st and Aleshia Dobbins, July 31st.

Silas Slate, Hanna Tillman, Jimmy McClanahan, Greg Holmes, Kay Farrer, Letha Hopkins, Katie Beavers, Barry Halford, Larry Anders and Jeffrey Tillman were the honored birthday patrons of the Weekdays Deli which closed in 2012 at 115, Sparkman Street in Hartselle. Holy Smoke BBQ hosted the former patrons on Wednesday, July 12, at noon for their luncheon. Special thanks are expressed to Barton and Jackie Hyatt and Junior Hyatt for the rack of ribs and Jerri Belvins Hyatt for the birthday strawberry cupcakes and ice cream. The August meeting will be the second Wednesday at noon at Holy Smoke BBQ. Fred Smith is the birthday member of the group for August and his birthday is on August the 6th.
