Mayor Randy Garrison recognized two city employees for their years of dedication and service at last week’s regular meeting of the Hartselle City Council.

Officer Roger Speake was recognized for his 20 years of service to the Hartselle Police Department as a senior patrolman.

“I’d like to recognize you for your 20 years of service to the Hartselle Police Department and the City of Hartselle and tell you how much we appreciate your dedication and all that you do,” Garrison said to Speake.

Capt. Johnny Norwood was recognized for his 30 years of service to the Hartselle Fire Department. Norwood received an engraved plaque at the meeting that read: “In recognition and appreciation for 30 years of service and your contributions to the city of Hartselle and Hartselle Fire and Rescue.”
