Funeral for Lillie Kelly Owens, 81, of Hartselle will be Thursday, May 9 (today), at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Owen Ray Stricklin and Rev. Kenneth Weldon officiating.
Graveside service will be at Memory Hill Cemetery in Albertville at 1:30 p.m.
Mrs. Owens died Monday, May 6, 2002 at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. She was the widow of James M. Owens Sr. and the sister of the late Rev. Jasper Kelly, Rev. John H. Kelly, Willie McClain and Edith Kelly.
She is survived by three sons, William P. "Bill" Owens Jr. of Falkville, James M. Owens Jr. of Albertville and Kenneth Q. Owens of Riner, Va.; one daughter, Willie Juanita Gray of Florence; one brother, Paul Kelly of Nashville; one sister, Mary Stricklin of Nashville; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
