Holmes named top cheerleader

Shelly Holmes, daughter of David and Sandra Holmes and a senior at Falkville High School, was chosen as an All-American Cheerleader while at camp in June. The camp was held at The University of Alabama. Judges watched the squad members as they performed a tumbling pass, three advanced stamina jumps and the NCA camp cheer.
Holmes is now eligible for certain special events, including a trip to Hawaii.
Her sponsor is Patty Annerton, an algebra teacher at Falkville High School.
