Robert Dewayne 'Bobby' Turney

Funeral for Robert Dewayne "Bobby" Turney, 58, of Hartselle was Sunday, July 21, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry McElroy officiating.
Burial was in Cook Cemetery.
Mr. Turney died Thursday, July 18, 2002, at Marshall Medical Center North in Arab. A native of Morgan County, he was the owner-operator of T.N.T. Trucking Co. He served in the Army National Guard from 1964 to 1972, and he was a past member of the National Cutting Horse Association and the American Quarter Horse Association.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dell Fitzpatrick Turney of Hartselle; two brothers, Al Turney of Athens and Ray Turney of Cookville, Tenn.; four sisters, Mildred McNutt of Hartselle, and Dorothy Parsons, Hazel Murphy and Dean Smith, all of Falkville.
Pallbearers were Phillip Hill, Jim Stevenson, Randall Yoder, Gene McLemore, David McNutt and Eric Turney.
