A graveside service for Carolyn Sharpley Logan, 88, of Hartselle was Monday, Aug. 12, at 3 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Norman Whitthuhn and the Rev. Bob Stegall officiating.
Mrs. Logan died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at her residence. A native of Morgan County, she was a life long member of First Christian Church in Hartselle. She graduated from Morgan County High School, attended Florence State Teachers College and graduated from Peabody Teachers College in Nashville in 1939. She taught elementary education for 34 years in Mississippi, Florida and Alabama with the last 24 years at F.E. Burleson Elementary School. She was a charter member of the Rainbow Garden Club. She was the widow of Lloyd E. Logan.
