Funeral for Charles R. Holder, 58, of Decatur was Friday, Aug. 30, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Doug Ripley and Rex Terry officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Holder died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at Huntsville Hospital. A native of St. Louis, Mo., he was a member of Decatur Baptist Church. He was employed at Delphi Automotive Systems in Decatur and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union.
He is survived by one son, Kenneth Charles Holder of Hartselle; one daughter, Paige Holder Boyd of Danville; his mother, Katherine Sims of Decatur; one brother, Kenneth Holder of Hartselle; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wilson McKleroy, Greg Teague, Terry Townsend, Danny Holmes, Kevin Holder and Jim Gilliam.
