Eagle Scout project

Max Parker (C) recently completed his Eagle Scout project, which included renovating the play area at Danville-Neel Elementary School. He is joined at the playground by Daniel Morgan, (L) and Judd James (R). Parker worked on the school's "Playground Express." The play train was already in place, but was rarely used. Parker added purple hopscotch stones, green stepping stones and a sandbox. He also beautified the area by outlining it with railroad ties and adding ornamental grass, a tree and mulch. All of the materials used for the project were donated.
