Funeral for Frances Wiley Tapscott, 86, of Hartselle was Monday, Dec. 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Greg Alred and Clyde Ledlow officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Tapscott died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at Summerford Nursing Home. A native of Morgan County, she was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a hospital nurse for 30 years in Morgan County. She was the widow of C.P. Tapscott.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Wayne Tapscott of Hartselle and Paul F. Tapscott of Double Springs; one daughter, Shirley Johnson of Moulton; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Hank Quattlebaum, Bob McLlwain, Tommy Wallace, Johnny Thompson, Marlin Tapscott and Gerald Wiley.
