Funeral for James K. Polk, 72, of Danville was Thurs., Dec. 12, at 3 p.m. at Shackelford Chapel Funeral Home Chapel in Savannah, Tenn.
Burial was in Shady Hill Cemetery in Hardin County, Tenn.
Mr. Polk died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002. A native of Hardin County, he was the widower of Oleta Stanfield Polk. He was a retired receiving clerk for Aqua Glass and former president of Aqua Glass Credit Union. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
He is survived by one son, James Nathan Polk of Okino, Japan; one daughter, Tammy L. Lawrimore of Danville; one sister, Burbon Haggard of Savannah, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
