Funeral for Maggie Royer Eubanks, 87, of Somerville, formerly of Hartselle, was Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Greg Alred and Pearl J. Jenkins officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Eubanks died Sunday, Dec. 22, at her residence. A native of Morgan County, she was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was the mother of the late James Wendell Eubanks and the widow of James Auley Eubanks.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Gilchrist of Somerville and Carolyn Thompson of Ackerman, Miss.; one brother, R. C. Royer of Hartselle; three sisters, Pearline Knox and Pauline Jones, both of Hartselle and Lucille Graveman of Cullman.
Pallbearers were Terry Gilchrist, Jeffrey Thompson, Ronald Brewster, Randy Childers, Phil Gilchrist and Harlan Brasseale.
