Leonard "Orlo" Summerford

Funeral for Leonard "Orlo" Summerford, 83, of Eva was Saturday, Jan. 4, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. James Brooks and Billy Gable officiating.
A military burial service was at Union Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Summerford died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, in Huntsville. A native of Morgan County, he was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a prisoner of war for one year. He was a farmer and construction worker.
He is survived by his wife, Mattie Lou Summerford of Eva; and one sister, Jewel Holloway of Eva.
Pallbearers were Jermey Wood, Josh Wood, Cale Runge, Ricky Bracken, Loyd Parsons and Tim Barnett.
