Child safety seat needs change with age, weight
You're bundling up your bundle of joy and heading off to grandma's house – but do you know the right way to get there safely?
A recent survey by State Farm Insurance showed more than 82 percent of child safety seats are being used improperly.
To combat this problem, the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration recommends the following:
Alabama law requires all children under age 6 to be in a child safety seat. Children age 4 and 5 must be in a child safety seat or safety belt.
