Funeral for Edna Etzig Welch, 80, of Hanceville was Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 1 p.m. at Williams-McCracken Chapel with Charles Sanford officiating.
Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery.
Mrs. Welch died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003 at her residence. She was a homemaker and the widow of Dr. Elbert Welch.
She is survived by five daughters, Annette Ivie of Austin, Tex.; Yvonne Sanford of Hartselle, Sylvia Katrina Welch of Seattle, Wash. and Pati Jochum and Barbara Jones both of Hanceville; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
