Funeral for Gerald D. Jones, 77, of Falkville was Monday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grad Tanner officiating.
Burial was in Cullman City Cemetery.
Mr. Jones died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at Summerford Nursing Home. A native of Morgan County, he was retired from L&N Railroad after 32 years of service. He was a World War II veteran and retired from the National Guard. He was a Methodist and the father of the late Ben Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jones of Cullman; one son, Jerry Jones of Falkville; one sister; Mary Sue Tillery of Cullman; and one grandson.
Pallbearers were Don Stisher, Doug Stisher, Randy Wynn, Russell Reeder, Rufus Penn and Bob Carroll.
