Funeral for Ophelia Parker Orr, 78, of Hartselle, formerly of Birmingham, will be Thursday (today) March 6, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grad Tanner officiating.
Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Orr died Monday, March 3, 2003, at her residence. A native of Morgan County, she was a charter member of Faith Chapel in Birmingham and later a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle. She was the sister of the late Jerry Morris Parker and William M. Parker, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, James M. Orr of Hartselle; two sons, Jerry Orr of Hartselle and Douglas Orr of Birmingham; one brother, Charles A. Parker of Hartselle; one sister, Shirley Parker Bramlett of Birmingham; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews and cousins.
