Funeral for Clossie Lena Borden Roberts, 91, of Falkville was Friday, March 14, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Denzell Borden officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at Falkville Health Care Center. A native of Lawrence County, she was a member of Unity Chapel Holiness Church in Landersville. She was the widow of Julius Nathan Roberts. She was the mother of the late Clifton O'Neal Roberts, William "Wayne" Roberts, J.N. Roberts and Natie Allen, and the sister of the late Massey Borden, Irvin Borden, Nelly Riner, Zola Roden, Evie Roden and Geneva Roden.
She is survived by one son, Norman Ray Roberts of Neel; four daughters, Jeanette Martin and Patricia Rey, both of Neel, Dorothy Minshall of Delton, Mich., and Donna Bailey of Hartselle; and two brothers, Glen Borden of Rocky Ford and Burse Borden of Danville; 31 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Patrick Bailey, Tony Martin, Stacy Ray, Randy Roberts and Billy Minshall.
