A graveside service for Roger Dale Melson, 49, of Decatur was Tuesday, April 1, at 1 p.m at Rock Creek Cemetery in Winston County with the Rev. J. D. Snoddy officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Melson died Saturday, March 29, 2003, at his residence. A native of Winston County, he was a Baptist and a self-employed painter.
He is survived by two daughters, Amiee Myers and Angela Magnuson, both of Decatur; five brothers, Ricky Melson of Somerville, Ray Melson, Danny Melson and Dean Melson, all of Decatur, and Johnny Melson of Cullman; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ricky Melson, Danny Melson, Johnny Melson, Roger Magnuson, Bryan Fortenberry and Dean Melson.
