Funeral for Sam Bibb, 90, of Danville was Sunday, March 30, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Willie Delashaw officiating.
Burial was in Roundtop Cemetery.
Mr. Bibb died Thursday, March 27, 2003, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was a Veteran of World War II, where he served in the United States Army. He served in the Pacific Theater and was the recipient of two Bronze Stars, American Defense Metal and a good conduct medal. He was a farmer and the widower of Edna Bibb.
He is survived by three sons, Robert Bibb of Decatur, Dale Bibb of Danville and Richard Bibb of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jack Steele, Stanley Bibb, James Bibb, Brandon Bibb, Todd Bennich and Steve Steele.
