A memorial service for James A. Kerr, 75, of Joppa, will be Thursday (today), April 17, at 6 p.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel in Arab with Glen Click officiating.
Mr. Kerr died Sunday, April 13, 2003 at his residence. He was born October 26, 1927 in Etowah County to Roy V. Kerr and Audra Tucker Kerr. He was a retired electronic tech for Redstone Arsenal. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge #550 in Gadsden, and was a member of the American Legion Post #8 in Guntersville. He was the widower of Annette Kerr.
He is survived by two daughters, Debra Gray and Cathy Kerr, both of Arab; one brother, Elmo J. Kerr of Hartselle; aunt, Rosalind Cornett of Gadsden; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
