Funeral for Dorothy Hampton Bennefield, 65, of Hartselle was Saturday, May 17, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating.
Burial was at Fairview.
Mrs. Bennefield died Thursday, May 15, 2003, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was born June 28, 1937 in Cullman County to Ethridge Hampton and Inest Harper Hampton. She was a Baptist and was the widow of Wallace Bennefield.
She is survived by two sons, James Wallace Bennefield and Jimmy Dean Bennefield, both of Hartselle; two daughters, Brenda Gale Topping of Hartselle and Doris Gail Murphy of Falkville; one sister, Betty Newman of Decatur; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
