Funeral for Betty Virginia Morris Woodard of Eva will be Saturday, June 14, at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Hartselle with the Rev. Roderick Kenyan Morgan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Key Family Cemetery, east of Falkville.
Visitation will be Friday, June 13, from 4 until 9 p.m. and Sat. from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state at the church from 12 noon until 2 p.m.
Mrs. Woodard died in Nashville, Tenn., after a long illness. She was the mother of the late Ross Woodard.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Cois E. Woodard of Eva; three daughters, Bonnie Blue McDaniel of Florence, Beth Ann Hardin of Decatur and Love Lea Woodard of Nashville, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren, Ross Woodard, Miles Sheehan, India Sheehan and Anna Laura Sheehan, all of Decatur, Chaillie and Woodard Watkins of Florence and Kayla McDaniel of Jasper.
