Funeral for Mary Orthy Sandlin Anders, 83, of Hartselle was Sunday, July 13, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rodger Collins and the Rev. Randy Ashley officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Anders died Friday, July 11, 2003, at her daughter's residence. She was born Dec. 16, 1919, in Morgan County to William Earnest Sandlin and Lou Annie Livingston Sandlin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Dewitt Anders; one brother, James Sandlin; and one sister, Dorothy Sandlin Thomason.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth L. Anders of Hartselle; two daughters, Ann A. Brown of Danville and Kathy A. Gandy of Falkville; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chris Gandy, Charlie Gandy, Tim Brown, Lucas Anders, Robert Hester and Roger Burrow.
