Local student on color guard
Courtney White of Hartselle was recently named to the Color Guard at the University of North Alabama. White, a sophomore at UNA, is a graduate of Hartselle High School, where she was a member of the color guard and marching band. This is her second year on the UNA color guard. White, a commercial Spanish major, is the daughter of Vicki White.
Two earn Judson honors
Several area students were named to the dean's list at Judson College. Jenniger Gunter and Jennifer Pope were both named to the dean's list.
Music awards handed out
The Wallace State Music Department recently held its scholarship awards day.
Brentice Hardin and Kathryn Brown both of Hartselle High School, were among the scholarship recipients.
