Funeral for Paul Howell Brown, 55, of Decatur will be today, Thursday, July 31, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Smothers officiating.
Burial will be in Pitman Cemetery.
Mr. Brown died Monday, July 28, 2003, at his residence. He was born Nov. 15, 1947, in Morgan County to John Alvin Brown and Addice Bertha Hallmark Brown.
He is survived by his special friend, Linda Cockrell of Decatur; two sons, Ricky Brown of Decatur and Michael Springer of Atlanta; three daughters, Paula Motes of Hartselle, Melissa Hummar of Decatur and Regina Hancock of Mentone; his mother, Addice Brown of Moulton; five brothers, James A. Brown and Johnny Brown, both of Hartselle, Jerry Brown and Allan Brown, both of Moulton, and Charlie Brown of Madison; three sisters, Faye Barber of Priceville, Janice McCleskey of Marion, Ark., and Laurie James of Kentucky; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Brown, Michael Springer, James Motes, Scott Hill, Greg Brakeman and Michael Brakeman.
