Funeral for Sarah E. Bodley, 88, of Hartselle was Tuesday, July 29, at 7:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Clark officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Bodley died Monday, July 28, 2003, at Sunshine Haven Assisted Living. She was born Jan. 4, 1915, in Morgan County to Willie Eden Brown and Elma Brown.
She served as a Foster Grandparent in the Hartselle elementary schools and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Bodley.
She is survived by her son, Billy J. Bodley of Hartselle; and two grandchildren, Greg Bodley and Debra Harvel, both of Hartselle.
