Funeral for Ruby G. Collins, 84, of Somerville was Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 2 p.m. at New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Glen Smallwood and the Rev. James Wray officiating.
Burial was in New Salem Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Collins died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at Sunbridge Health Care and Rehab. She was born Nov. 17, 1918, in Morgan County to John Washington Maze and Lou Ella Beggs Maze.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, James Henry Collins of Joppa and Joseph Britton Collins of Somerville; two daughters, Imogene Callahan of Hartselle and Nancy Morrow of Somerville; a brother, John Henry Maze of Morgan City; a sister, Becky Morrow of Somerville; four grandchildren, Christopher Collins, Chad Collins, Mark Morrow and Kevin Morrow; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Christopher Collins, Chad Collins, Mark Morrow, Kevin Morrow, Jacob Daugette and James Jerome Daugette.
