Funeral for Joyce Lee Williams, 71, of Eva, was Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Laverle Buckelew officiating.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery near Eva.
Mrs. William died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 13, 1932 in Jefferson County to James C. Bice and Ethal Holmes Bice. She was a member of the Eva Community and Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church for more than 50 years and a member of the Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. James "Dub" W. Williams of Eva; one son, Rudy Michael Williams of Gainesville, Fla.; two daughters, Trudy Lebron Williams Stewart of Stevens Point, Wisc. and Ramona Leigh Williams Lee of Eva; one sister, Estelle Guy of Columbiana; and five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Bobby Williams, Linus Morgan, W. T. Holmes, Kristopher Williams, Donnie Long, Sherman Henderson, Fermon Overstreet and Ronnie Guy.
