Funeral for Ruth T. McCaig, 84, of Falkville will be Thursday (today), Aug. 21, at 3 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. McCaig died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at National Healthcare Center in Moulton. She was born April 29, 1919 in Morgan County to William Henry Thompson and Ada Ethel Collins Thompson. She was a former co-owner of Hartselle Florist and a lifelong member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She was the widow of C.A. McCaig and the mother of the late Sarah McCaig McNeil.
She is survived by three sons, Bobby McCaig of Decatur and Harold R. McCaig and Gary D. McCaig, both of Falkville; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
