Funeral for LaVina Mae Powell Hulse, 73, of Decatur was Sunday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m. at Williams-McCracken Funeral Home Chapel in Cullman with the Rev. Cheryl Wagar and Jamie Hooper officiating.
Burial was in Center Hill Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mrs. Hulse died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born January 21, 1930, in Morgan County to John David Powell and Nancy Smith Powell.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, James David Grigsby of Moulton; three daughters, Bette Steele of Decatur, Brenda Yocom of Hartselle and Susan Chapman of Addison; two sisters, Frances Odell Hearst and Veleara Lindsey, both of Donighan, Missouri; and six grandchildren.
