Funeral for Horace "PeeRidge" Milton, 89, of Decatur was Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Ralph Stout officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Milton died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, at his residence. He was born December 14, 1913, in Morgan County. He was a member of the Grant Street Church of Christ and was owner and operator of Decatur Guard Service.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Bell Milton of Decatur; two sons, Ricky Van Murphy and Tom Murphy, both of Decatur; three daughters, Savann Beason, Ginger Bardill and Tammy Brown, all of Decatur; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lavern Brown, Jerry Beason, Ben Murphy, Jed Beason, Tom Murphy and Rickey Murphy.
