Funeral for Marie Holmes Woodall, 78, of Eva was Friday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Tim McCormick and James Williams officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Woodall died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at her residence. She was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Jefferson County to George Webb and Agnes Farrell Webb. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons. W.T. Holmes, James G. Holmes and George Holmes, all of Eva; one daughter, Gail McCormick of Hartselle; three stepdaughters, Athelia Gibbs of Eva, Janice Goodsell of Denver and Joyce Whipple of Eva; her mother, Agnes Webb of Falkville; one brother, Wallace Webb of Hartselle one sister; Cathy Hill of Eva; 11 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
