Clois Fowler Murphree

A graveside service for Clois Fowler Murphree, 80, of Decatur was Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 1:30 p.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Terry Nappier officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Murphree died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, at National Healthcare Moulton. She was born July 13, 1923, in Cullman to Artis Marvin Fowler and Susie Leona Shaddix Fowler. She was a member of East Highland Baptist Church. She was the widow of James Q. Murphree.
She is survived by one son, James D. Murphree of Decatur; one daughter, Peggy Champion of Hartselle; two sisters, Nadine Mason and Janice Kemp, both of Hartselle; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
