Funeral for Patricia Anderson Slaten, 55, of Somerville was Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 3 p.m. at the Oak Park Church of God in Decatur with the Rev. Carl Maynard officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Forrest Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Slaten died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at her residence. She was born March 29, 1948, in Jackson County to Charlie Franklin Anderson and Annie Mae Graham Anderson. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and was the sister to the late Oval Anderson, Robert Anderson, Laemen Anderson, Donald Anderson, Pete Anderson and Mattie Ruth Siezreiga.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Slaten of Somerville; two sons, Darrell Wayne Murphree of Decatur and Willie Glenn Murphree of Somerville; two daughters, Sharon Denise Hill of Decatur and Paula Jo Johnson of Somerville; one brother, Chuck Anderson of Scottsboro; three sisters, Roxie Anderson Bush of Hazel Green, Shirley Vaughn of Scottsboro and Ruby Sanders of Illinois; 12 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Loflin, Lynn Loflin, Greg Barber, Jeremy Way, Jerry Mason and Keith Day.
