A graveside service for Hobert Lee Hall, 72, of Falkville, was Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Nuss officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hall died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born Dec. 5, 1930, in Morgan County to John Virgel Hall and Clara Zola Holmes Hall. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hartselle. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Laughmiller Byrd Hall of Brundidge; two brothers, Carlis "Bill" Hall and wife Ruby of Decatur and Ottis Hall and wife Norma of Burnham, Ill; and two sisters, Lorine Speakman and Carlie M. Wright, both of Hartselle; three step sons, David Byrd, Michael Byrd and Brian Byrd, all of Brundidge; and three step daughters, Mary Lewis, Donna Williams and Francis Hooks, all of Brundidge.
