Funeral for Ola Peek Burgess, 91, of Cullman was Thursday, Oct. 9, at Williams-McCracken Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Emeus Cemetery at Logan.
Mrs. Burgess died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at Woodland Medical Center in Cullman. She was born Sept. 22, 1912, in Lawrence County to Ruben William Peek and Mattie Mae Lindsey Peek. She was the widow of Coy Burgess.
She is survived by two sons, Tommy Wayne Burgess of Buffalo, N.Y. and Ronald Royce Burgess of West Seneca, N.Y.; two daughters, Carol Bailey and Nona Szilagyi, both of Cullman; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Paul Burgess of Hartselle, sisters-in-law, Maudie Tapscott of Hartselle, Opal Legg of Danville and Lillie McClellan of Detroit, Mich.
