Brewer wins East Limestone Tournament; now 5-2 on season

Patriots beat Decatur Heritage for tourney title
The Brewer Patriots won all three of their games and took home the championship trophy of the East Limestone Thanksgiving Tournament. Brewer beat Madison County, Tishomingo and Decatur Heritage to win the title.

Matt Nielsen scored 13 points to lead Brewer to a first round win.
Jeremy Way scored 12, while Matt Eslick had 11 points and eight rebounds. Matt Cobbs and Dustin Scott both dished out six assists.

Tishomingo 37
Nielsen and Scott led a balanced scoring attack and stifling defense to beat Tishomingo.
Nielsen scored 12 points and Scott had 13, while Austin Mooney scored eight. Mooney also pulled down nine rebounds.
Cobbs scored six points and had 10 assists, while Shelton scored six points and pulled down six rebounds.

Decatur Heritage 42
For the third time this season, Brewer faced off with Decatur Heritage. And, for the third time, beat Decatur Heritage.
Cobbs had 13 points and David Champion scored 12. Nielsen had seven points and seven rebounds, while Shelton scored seven points and pulled down six boards.

Brewer needed overtime in their first match-up with Decatur Heritage. This time was much different, as the Patriots got a 67-39 win.
Nielsen led the way with 19 points, while Scott scored nine points and eight rebounds. Cobbs scored six points, dished out 12 assists and pulled down seven boards.
