Funeral for Floyd Lamar Legg, 72, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Foreman and the Rev. Donnie McDonald officiating.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Legg died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at his residence. He was born Dec. 17, 1931, in Morgan County to Albert Arlo Legg and Trudie Mae Legg. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Legg.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Faye Legg; two sons, Tony Legg of Hartselle and Ricky Legg of Tennessee; one daughter, Janice Legg Russell of Hartselle; two sisters, Shirley Allen of Hartselle and Martha Yates of Michigan; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
