James 'Cohen' Taylor

Funeral for James "Cohen" Taylor, 74, of Somerville was Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Waymon Spain and Charles Stone officiating.
Burial was in Center Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at his residence. He was born April 6, 1929, in Morgan County to James Hubert Taylor and Audie Macie Dunaway Taylor. He was a member of the Oak Forrest Baptist Church in Somerville. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Peggy Jean Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Bobby Jean Hardy Taylor of Somerville; one son "Bud" Taylor of Hartselle; four daughters, Glenda Jackson of Decatur, Donna Moore of Hueytown and Cindy Hopkins and Lisa Taylor, both of Somerville; three sisters, Betty Worley of Hornlake, Miss., Macie Story of Buena Vista, Ga., and Pat Abner of Oxford, Miss.; and 10 grandchildren
Pallbearers were Charles Taylor, Lamont Hardy, Craig Abner, Greg Abner, Chuck Reeves and Dwight Abner.
