Funeral for Thomas J. Dye, 65, of Falkville was Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Billy Gable officiating.
Burial was in New Hope North Cemetery.
Mr. Dye died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004. He was born October 20, 1936, in Cullman County to James Dye and Clara Carrol Dye. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was a Methodist. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Dye and Holbert Dye.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dye of Falkville; two sons, Tim Dye of Cullman and Jeff Dye of Falkville; one daughter, Tammy Hurd of Falkville; one brother, Travis Lamar Dye of Cullman; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Roger Young, Kenny Young, Mark Young, Ben Riner, Jr., Jason Bomar and Daniel Bomar.
