Funeral for Dorothy Morrison, 73, of Lacey's Spring was Sunday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Legg and Rocky Browning officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Morrison died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at her residence. She was born Aug. 7, 1930 in Michigan to Alfred Rensema and Helen Meisen Rensema. She was a member of the Valhermoso Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Morrison, Sr. She was retired as store manager of AAFEs.
She is survived by one son, Edward R. Morrison, Jr. of Winder, Ga.; two daughters, Sandra Simpson of Byhalia, Miss. and Mary Montgomery of Lacey's Spring; one sister, Margaret Comstock of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerry Case, Roger Campbell, Jim Wood, Bobby Scott, Jimmy Scott and John Vile.
