Funeral for Marjorie Lankford Pitts, 74, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rachel Westmoreland officiating.
Burial was in Decatur City Cemetery.
Mrs. Pitts died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at her residence. She was born Sept. 24, 1929, in Alexander City to the Rev. S. D. Lankford and Mary Kate Griffin Lankford. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Katherine Patterson of Decatur and Debbie Turner of Hartselle; two brothers, Earl Lankford of Florence and Harrell Lankford of Anniston; two sisters, Mildred Hulsey of Anniston and Carol Dougherty of Athens; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Turner, James Dougherty, Jeff Morrison, Brannon Dougherty, Matt Turner and Calvin Westmoreland.
