Funeral for Tillman C. Wallace, 74, of Hartselle was held Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Wendell Callahan and Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Wallace died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at his residence. He was born Jan. 24, 1930, in Morgan County to Joe Cephus Wallace and Victoria Roper Wallace. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was retired as a supervisor of Equipment and Grounds Crew at the Lurleen B. Wallace Center.
She is survived by his wife, Ruth Wallace of Hartselle; one son, Truman Wallace of Hartselle; one daughter, Carolyn Wallace of Hartselle; one sister Christine McLamb of Hartselle; five grandchildren, Heath Wallace, Brooke Reed, Jessica Hart, Kirby Wallace and Kaitlin Wallace; and one great grandchild, Tori Wallace.
Pallbearers were Joel Wallace, Heath Wallace, Josh Reed, Stephen Hart, Mike McLamb and Randy George.
