Funeral for Datchel Ryan Holmes, 89, of Eva was Monday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. James Dennis and Darrell Chambers officiating.
Burial was in Enon Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mrs. Holmes died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 19, 1914, in Morgan County to Sidney Albert Ryan and Dorthula Dunreath Frost Ryan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ocho Holmes; three brothers, Truman Ryan, Auburn Ryan and Gafton Ryan; and one sister, Ezell Stewart.
She is survived by two daughters, Clovis Holmes of Eva and Annie Jo Key of Hartselle; one granddaughter, Myra Ford of Eva; one grandson, Randall Don Key of Hartselle; two great grandchildren, Alex and Mitch Ford of Eva; two half-sisters, Gaynell Ryan of Cullman and Juanita Burdick of Eva; and one stepsister, Luetta Kinney of Eva.
