Funeral for Ilowene Brown, 86, of Eva will be Thursday (today), Feb. 12, at 11 a.m. at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Byrone Brown, Billy Gable and Billy Teague officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Brown died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born December 24, 1917, in Morgan County to Hughell Braswell and Pearl Vines Braswell. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church but recently had been attending Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eather S. Brown and a son, Jimmy Brown.
She is survived by two sons, Vick Brown and wife Carol of Eva and Ricky Brown and wife Susan of Decatur; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Lenox of Eva; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
